Equal Chances

'You can only study on a full stomach. And good education is your shot at a better life, outside the slums.' This is the thought that motivates the Equal Chances project. Children from the slums in Kenya have little to no future, so we try to give it to them. We work together with the locals and offer direct and small-scale help.

Our projects

Kenya Foundation Equal Chances currently finances a children’s home and a day care in Kenya: the St. Dorcas children’s home in Nairobi and the Child Support Kenya in Mombase. Both are officially registered and guarantee that the children will receive good education. They work closely together with the locals to contribute to the solution of a large social problem: the large amount of children that live in slums. They help by offering the children shelter, food and an education.

’You can only study on a full stomach. And good education is your shot at a better life, outside the slums.’
